A hope for real representation
Although I'm smiling in this picture, I'm tired of corporations buying our politicians, corrupting our government, all while the working class continually pays for their bad decisions. I'm outraged by the endless military conflicts, the countless lives lost, and the TRILLIONS of dollars of our money used to fund these senseless operations. I'm deeply troubled by the concerted effort of our government and corporations to censor free speech and criminalize whistleblowers.
However, I'm willing to stand up to the powerful interests, and dedicated to helping Iowans reclaim our voice in Washington. Only through people powered campaigns like ours, will true democracy prevail.
I don't have millions of dollars to buy this election like the major parties do. What I do have is the right stance on the issues and the power of voters like you. With each election cycle it has become increasingly clear that these races can't (and won't) simply be bought, and voters can't be fooled with empty promises. We want real representation and real change.
The truth is there's one corporate party with “two sides”. The only way we will ever get policies that work for us, the people, is by electing someone who works for us, the people. As countless elections around the country have proven, what really matters is your support. If you believe in these issues as I do, then we can win by word of mouth and your votes alone.
That's truly all it takes, all it should take, and all I'm asking for.
